MAP AND SITE DETAILS Site Details The Trent Wind Farm, also known as Trent Mesa, is located on a flat top hill (mesa) in West Texas south of Interstate 20 -- off Adrian Road -- about 30 miles west of Abilene and about 10 miles east of Sweetwater. The project is located in Nolan and Taylor Counties. The site includes 14 sections (14 square miles) of land that AEP either owns or has reserved on long-term lease. The entire site could support about 200 wind turbines.
