Trent Mesa Wind Project Dedication

Note: The dedication ceremonies scheduled for November 15, 2001 have been cancelled because of inclement weather at the Trent Mesa site.

Public Guided Tours

Date: Saturday, November 17

Location: Buses will depart from the parking lot just north of the Abilene Civic Center on Saturday. Sweetwater residents can also catch a guided tour on Saturday from 9-noon at the base of Trent Mesa. The Saturday Tours are sponsored by TXU, Texas Renewable Energy Association (TREIA), Texas State Technical College and AEP.

Event: Renewable energy exhibits, and work shops. Open to the public. (see TREIA web for more information).
